You need to set all of your flash movies to 31. Theirs some thing with Macs that they can only play certain fps. Other wise they switch down to the next lowest in the chain. I might try to find some documentation in a min.

Cybling ...question : why would you indeed want to change to a higher frame rate ...what i mean ..in what happenstance would you need a higher frame rate?????
I'm just curious , i tend to just keep it at 12, and most of what i've read from Ben Forta or Lynda Weinman -they dont really give any reasons why one would speed it up.
If its something that i could use and make my swfs more efficient , fill me in !

basically the way i think of frame rate is this...

move your hand infront of your eyes slowly...

now blink 2 times a second...

repeat but blink as fast as you can while moving your hand the same speed.

the hand will appear to move smoothly rather than "jump".

same thing in flash;

if you have a box move across a screen and it spans 3 frames at 10frame rate (10frames a sec)

then u see the box on the left, middle then right (no real appearance of movement)

Oh I understand that Chriso , but i was just wondering , in a where and when fashion one would use an increased frame rate , for what purpose mainly .....
just curiosity, i've always stuck with 12 fps, but then again i've only just been certified in FlashMX and advanced action scripting and not familiar with a lot of different designers styles and methods , I thought Cybling would maybe show me an example so i would understand the purpose behind an advance fps speed.
