New to Flash

I am new to Flash but love it and what it can do. I have just a few questions about it and I hope someone can help me with them.

Can you do a whole Web site in Flash ? If so do you have to do them in tables, and if you do have to use tables how do you do it?

What is Switch and how dose it work with Flash and is it worth getting?

Any help with these question will be appreciated.

Um yeah...you can do sites completely in Flash. Check out mine for example. No, you don't necessarily need tables, just so happens i do.

My guess would be some array of images that is randomly selected on each onload event?

You can do whole sites in flash without tables.
I think you may be talking of swish (not switch) which is a tool for making flash animations and stuff, I havent used it personally so I dont know what its like.

Personally, I don't favor swish because it is a program that makes flash easier ,and I am of the opinion that the more user-friendly something becomes, the less flexible and less powerful it becomes.

I can't vouch for swish itself thoguh cause i've never used it :/

one great thing about flash is that there are no tables to worry about, flash movies will appear the same in every website

Sorry supa...yes it's a randnum thing. I tell flash to pick a number between 0 and 14. That number is then inserted here: random-.swf (where the - is) and randomly selects a file on my server. Eg random5.swf, random9.swf. etc
