Dreamweaver problem

I'm making a layout for my friend, and I've finished the graphics part, now I'm just cutting it up and HTML'ising it.
Now I have each section of the layout put in seperate tables, which all reside in one big table.
I put the left-section in fine, but there is a small gap from it and the top-section. There can't be any gaps (because it's like one of those continuouse image sort of things). This is also the case with the middle section. Each of the images (that will surround a banner) are spaced out; and their TD boxes are also too large for them. I've tried to fix this every way I know, but when I try to re-size them, Dreamweaver says that I can't resize because it will take it below its minimum size.
