Heyo people, I hope this is the right place to put this question. I just want to know if it's possible to get .PNGs with transparency to show up properly in internet explorer? Well, they work in the more superior browsers, but I've gotta make sure it works in ****ernet hexplorer, LA! ThanX, BYEEEEE!! |

ALA seems to be down, so the short answer is no. IE on the Mac supports it, as well as pretty much every other browser on earth. But no IE. You'd think they'd support it by now, the PNG standard has been finalized for like 6 years. I guess they are too busy adding new security holes to actually put in something that might be useful.

Part of me wants to leav in the .PNGs on my site and just say "**** you" to all the sheep using it, but I want to be able to refer people there that might wanna employ me, GRR! Also, I'm highly against writing different code for different browsers. This is the one thing I hate about webdesign, inconsistency (and M$, of course). ThanX guys. |

Yes. I'd really like to use PNGs also. They are quite great. Good ol' MS holding back the entire internet though.
