MP3 in flash help

I noticed a few websites of memebers have music embeded in flash and it plays with a short load time.

I added a mp3 into mine and it makes it huge and the load takes forever how are you optimising them?
tips?

1. are you sure you need to put the mp3 in the swf right away? i think that sound in flash is best done by allowing the user to click a button if they want sound.... then load it as an external movie

2. if you really want sound in your swf then import it to your library, right click and then goto properties... play with those settings...
