i hear a lot about people wanting to make cool nebulas...so now i do too...i came across this cool tutorial with a technique i hadn't considered before. http://www.scifi-meshes.com/tutorials/norling/nebula/partneb.html only problem is, its in advanced 3d people talk ;) Anyone up for a completing this tutorial for dummies? He didn't explain the actual steps for the partical part or the confusing material he made, heck i couldn't even get the edit the mesh to look near his, so i used nurbs like i've been doing for abstract stuff. It's actually pretty cool i'm gonna fool around with it some more when i get time... |

actually just using the particle cloud. I don't know how to attach them to an object. Can it be any object? the rest is just basically the material for the particles, i can do that.
