I've had Flash 5 for about a year and a half now and still can't do/make anything. I was just wondering what books you guys recommend? I have Foundation Flash 5 & this other one and they both equally suck. The wording in Foundation Flash 5 sucks and it's hard to comprehend. So, if you could share with me what books you found helpful, please either a.) respond to this thread, b.) email me at Djs15200@aol.com or c.) send me an IM on AOL Instant Messenger.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

I think a lot of people would say the New Rider's series of books are great.

also....

www.were-here.com

lists book reviews and such. They have some great titles listed with reviews.

The Friends of Ed books are great. If you can't understand the wording of those books then I'd say I can't help out. Between Friends of Ed and New Riders EVERY Flash book I've read has been very good. Have not seen one bad one out of the bunch...

gotta side with pank here, the friends of ED foundation books are just awesome. foundation flash is the book i recommend out of all the ones i've read (and that's a lot) to anyone trying to learn flash. if you don't get it just take your time, don't rush things. this isn't as easy as it looks ;)
