There is a tut online for this exact technique...i made a huge list for c4d tuts in the resource section, could be in there. I'm guessing he used maybe a cube, shattered it to bits (deformation), then used the twist deformation tool..

yeah what cybling said... it was a long long time ago. I am not even sure what I did. I just played around with the things cybling mentioned and added a shiney material. Not sure what settings or something I used. Just play around, perhaps you'll get something cool... |
