Yes, use the pen tool to get the tattoo design you want.

xchanin is correct.

Using the pen tool would be how I would do it in Photoshop. I would probably use the pen tool as shape layers so that I could get some easily scalable vectors in PS once I was done.

However, just drawing one with the brush tool would be ok as well. I suggest using a graphics tablet for drawing on a computer.

Though if I really wanted to make a tribal tatoo design, I'd probably do it as vectors in Adobe Illustrator. Having a resolution independent graphic that can only be achieved through vectors makes for a very sharp print-out at any size.

Sure its possible... But the best tool for this would be Illustrator (but Photoshop work fine).... O have a good frins of mine who used Illustrator for her own tatto design it they where pretty cool!

Be aware than cmyk and tatto in are not the same... so check out with the guy who makr the tatto for his color paellete and use those (Use a swaxh book to identyfi the closes color match with the CMYK model)...

Also...Nowday you get so much kind of special inkjer papers... I did se some to make temporary tatto (I was suprised but it is suposed to work... so using a tempoary tatto may be a good option if you are not sure about the design...

You can even use you tatto in a photo monatage (add the tatto to someone in photo)... to do this you need to palce the tatto on its own layer...lower its opacity a little bit and palsy with transformation tools...

Have fun
