hey, i am kinda new to photoshop. I have made around 3 sigs with photoshop. I was just wondering how do you make those grids disappear in different parts like in Ruud's sig? I already now how to make them normally.

Make grods fade out? You could use a layer mask on the layer with teh grid pattern. If that is what your talking about...

...I just make a selection, and feather it with a big amount of pixels.. Then simply hit DEL.

Another technique you can try if you want it to be a bit more random....Apply a layer mask to the layer w/ the grid on it...Render>Clouds (black & white) on the mask layer....Then mess with the brightness & contrast settings on the clouds in the mask layer to achieve the effect you want... Hope this helps... |

Or just use a soft erase brush, turn down the opacity and knock some of that grid out.
