Where to start with photoshop ?

Hi ...

I wanna learn how to use photoshop, but i don't know where to begin...
I have been using Paint Shop Pro for a long time, but I realy wanna learn how to use a more advanced program with more features....

Anyone have a good idea to where i could start ... I have been reading team ps's homepage, but I don't think thats enough...

well... first thing you have to learn is to post questions in the right section!

After that you can go through some more tutorials, or read the help function of photoshop. For more tutorials look on google, or in the resource section on this forum...

Read the manual. And if you "lost" it, get one of those fat "teach yourself photoshop" kinda books from amazon.com or something.

Try to play around in tutorials... and look for the one who use function who are not in PaintShop...

Also a good book is the best tool to leanr... I recoemnd Photoshop Bible

There are some great tutorials on this homepage, maybe one of the best tutorials on the net.

Don´t start of with the advanced, trie to make the very simple ones, thats the only way you cound ever learn from the start.

When I first learned photoshop I just played around with it for about one month and then I started to search for tutorials.

Go to photoshop tutorial sites. http://robouk.mchost.com is good. Then just go to all the affilliate sites.

the way i learned photoshop was to just have a project or small graphic in mind... Then try to make it. Photoshop can probably do whatever it is you want to do, so just figure it out as you go... Its worked well for me....
