been in it for a while, its a pretty basic question that I'm hoping someone will be able to help with. How do I turn a high res scan (photo) into a cartoon styled reduced colour picture. I'm sure you know the ones. any ideas. |

Can you give an example...you can start by going to Image - > Image Size and making it smaller....about the cartoon thing, well that's up to you how to do it really, unless you have an example.

you can trace it with basic shapes in Illustrator and make it a "cartoon" style vector image....or you can use Adobe StreamLine(i think thats the name) and it will make the vector shapes for you.
