Hello guys need help :( I'm making a website with 144x 80 pixel pics of peoples head and shoulders is there any way of selecting this size ratio no matter which pic I open (all the same resolution) some sort of box the size I want which can be moved around the pic until I get the image I want? at present I use the crop or marquee tool then cut and save as new image but this way each pic is never exactly the same ratio ie 150x76 or something like that (due to doing the selection freehand) then when I resize the pic to 144x80 it gets squashed one way or the other :( there is something Im missing anyone point me in the right direction? PLEASE ;) |

in the cropTools options there are two boxes (at least PS7.0), with width and height.. insert there the pixelAmounts you want (be sure to write in "px" after the digits, as PS wants to put it as inches otherwise), then just crop it where you want, it´ll make it that exact size. However, it will stretch it to match if you crop an area too small, so crop big to start with. That should be the help for your case. |
