You have an effect obviously applied to your layer, that has a drop shadow on it. Double click on this effect layer and decrease the drop shadow amount...it is PS 7, it could be different to 6..take a pic of your desktop with your problem and we can help you

Well, in your layers palette you can right click on the drop shadow and select Create Layer and it will make a layer out of the drop shadow. Now you can free transform it however you want.

Drop shadow is an effect you add to the brush. It doesnt automatically have a drop shadow. Just go to the drop shadow edit box and change the size there? Is that what you are looking for?

Are you talking about that section that you have selected in the brush box? That looks like an airbrush selected. That isnt a drop shadow, that is the outer part of the spray. not sure what to call it. But that has to do with the pressure settings. If that is what you are talking about....?

I don' know if this is right or if I remember right but...I did fool around with the brushdropmenu the other day, That is where you choose the actual brush. If you right click it there a menu shows up giving you three options New brush, Delete Brush and rename Brush...If you go for New Brush, you can change the settings for the one you chose. I don' remember if you could alter the drop shadow, though, but check it out. P-man |

Yeah, brushes dont have drop shadows until you give them one. It looks to me like your talking about how the brush fades out on the edges. If you want to give a brush a drop shadow, this is how- Put your brush strokes on a new layer Then goto Layer Style Click Drop Shadow Adjust the shadow to your liking Then, if you want to move the shadow, or resize it, you right click on it in the Layers Palette And select Create Layer And it will put the drop shadow on its own layer. If that doesn't help you, then your asking the wrong question. |
