Okay well here goes... How is it you can set transparent colour? Eg. For a gradient so it goes blue to transparent or something like that?... is it possible? Thanks in advance! |

Tranparancy is not a color.... its the non prescence of color (empty).... There is several way to do this. Gradient... Select the Foregrond to transparent gradient (2 in the gradian list)with blue as you fore ground.... If you create a custum gradient the tranparent color is represented by a four gris of black & waith block.... You can paint tranparancy with the eraser... but the beter way is usign a lyer mask (since you dont really loose your image. Also any new lyer you create is transparent (with the exception of the Backgrond layer who cant be tranparasnt... PS-Evrything is possible in Photoshop..you just have to know how!!! |

PS-7 Did you know that you can single out an area on a layer and make it transparent? To see how it works, select part of your image on a layer (this won't work on the Background layer). Then choose Edit > Fill and select Clear from the Blending Mode pop-up menu. Lower the Opacity as well and click OK to apply the change. That's all there is to it. |
