Sup, I've been trying to achieve this natural blending wavy effect, like in this picture, I know it seems like the gradient tool, but the wavy effects is hard to achieve with just the gradient alone and layer masks. http://dr.animega.net/ff-07-sm.jpg

Nevermind I got it, just had to add multiple layer masks and use the gradient in small portions. Thanks anways

Use a layer mask.... good you figure this one (I see lots of newbe using the eraser) But rather than using the gradient... try using a large brush with blurred edge (like the 100)... Im sure this is the way it was done... Getting the wawe effect with a gradiant is way to complicated (plus its not the goos way)... Have fun! |
