Hi folks, I'm printing out a CD cover using photoshop 6. I thought all my quality setting were set to "max" but the text will not print sharp. There's a shadow around each letter. I've no problems using Microsoft Publisher and I'm not using any web type fonts. Any ideas? bode |

300 dpi and set "image size" to the exact size needed. The image or text doesn't suffer from jagged edges - just a shadow around text lettering only.

Are you using Publisher... there is nothing worst! My recoemdarion is to crete the entire label in PS.. and once you finished flatten (but dont save the flatened version) the images for print (and use a higt resolution). Flatening the image should solve font related problems since they will be ot font anymore... PS-This trick also work nice if you made a small project on PC and you printer use a mac... |

set your text to crisp when you lay it out.

Thanks for the contributions. Photoshop and my printer appear to be behaving themselves now. I didn't do anything! I'll put it down to a bug  bode |
