 I used Photoshop 5 for years. Probably, the tool that I used the most is the Stamp. Normally, I just selected the tool, pressing on Alt key and slided the tool across the area that I wanted to capture. Then, without pressing any other keys, I moved across the area that I wanted the pattern to repeat itself. Since a couple of days ago, when I do this process, the system tells me that I have to select a pattern.  I am sure that I did not change any preferences or tried to use this tool differently than before. Why is this happening? By the way, I never had to select with any other tool an area that I wanted to capture. It was there, as soon as I move across holding down the Alt key. Please help! |

:( Well, I goofed. Yes I was using the Pattern tool not the Rubber Stamp tool. I am glad that I had no replies... I will be more careful next time.
