I would like to know how to become a Photoshop expert. I have a little knowledge in the layout of photoshop's tools, and what they do. My main question is, how did most of you pros become good? Through tutorials? If so, could you please list the best of the best tutorials here. Whenever I go to a really good graphic site, I get pissed because I can't build that sort of thing.

Get one of those books, like a Sams 24 hour one, or even Classroom in a book by adobe. Once you get the hang of some of the basics, then the tutorials will expand upon what you already know. The tutorials are great, probably the best way to learn photoshop. There are a million out there on the web, including the ones on this site. Some are harder than others. Don't get pissed and just spend a bit of time going through these tutorials.

This is the only site that I've found that has the best tutorials, which don't assume you know something. Thanks for the feedback, but I just want to get really good.

It's not really anything that happens overnight. I've been doing this for little under a year and I'm still a bit dissatisfied with my abilities. If you can become better than me in a shorter period of time, kudos to you. But I'll just tell you, you're going to need to dedicate alot of work and it'll take a while, but if you have the determination to do so, you too can join the ranks as a Photoshop Expert. Oh, and to make my ramblings a little more productive, there's a Photoshop Tutorial thread in the Resources section of this forum. Try the tutorials out, get used to the tools, and then devise your own techniques to aquire your intended goals.
