I saved an image in photoshop as weboptimized. When I view this image in photoshop the colors look fine. But when I put this same image jpg on a html form the colors a slightly wrong. Anyone have ideas on how to adjust for this or what I am doing wrong? Thanks for any advice |

My advice: Don't beat yourself up over it. You will never, ever, ever get consistent color on any kind of HTML page from computer to computer. Too many variables. Maybe lessen your optimization a little. Instead of using 45% compression, use 75%, for example. Or, rty saving it as a .gif if it's more graphic than photo. Also, click off 'progressive' if it's on. Totally useless feature, in my opinion. hope that helps gg |

The image even looks different on the same computer when comparing the image viewed in photoshop vs. the browser. Thanks |

I have had that same problem and never could figure out why. I used the hex code for the color and when viewed in ps it looks different than when viewed in html.... Only some colors. My only thought on this is maybe it was not a 'websafe' color and I am seeing the result of that? That is a guess and correct me if I am wrong. =\
