Photosop fx advice needed

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if any one could help me out. I'm trying to get an image to look like it's being viewed through a heat sensitive camera (Think Predator).

Where would I even begin? The heat dispersion can be random but if anyone knows how to be more area specific that would be great.

In the layer menu, select New adjustment layer. Select Gradient map and select the Spectrum gradient. That´s it

also, you can go completely nuts with a curve adjustment layer and it gives you really cool effects similar to that one. try it, you might like it!
