cuttin a pic from one image to another? |

how do i remove a guy from a pic without having to lasso it? when ever i lasso its all not neat and all i wanna know how i can cut an image clean and drage it to my background thnx |

Photoshop is about selections. Just practice them. However, there is an Extract function which may be useful to you. Have a look at it.

You can quickly lasso the guy and drag him into a new file (make a new layer for him first) then you can use the eraser tool and zoom to clean up the edges

what kind of pic are u trying to use? i think its god damn easy to do on anime:D

Of course anime would be easier, its not a true bitmapped image. Its not hard to grab your magic wand and grab ahold of parts of a basic vector object.

I dont watch anime, but my good friend ran a server for it. Hes has near 300 disks full of the stuff. I was never attracted to it.

Or lasso the general selection out of the original image and use a mask to clean it up
