Anyone know how to create scratchs for glass i made a layer thats colored blueish teal and made it softlight but it doesnt look like class so i figured some scratchs would do it

Yes, but it looks more like a reflection, however, at Photoshop Cafe in the forums, I remember reading a tutorial on making glass scratches, and the first step was the pen tooooooooool or somethin. Check the site out photoshopcafe.com

Make a new layer. Use a 1 pixel brush using white for coloration. Draw some straight and crooked lines. However many you want for a crack effect. Set the layer's blending mode to "multiply". Put an outer bevel and emboss layer style on the layer, bring the "depth" all the way up, little to no size adjustment or smoothing. Change the direction to "down" or adjust the lightsource so that the darker color is on top and white is on the bottom. Should look enough like a crack for most people. |
