Objects without antialiasing |

I know how to enter text without antialiasing, but how do you do objects?? as in custom shape tool objects. Sorry about the terminology, I am very new to photoshop, but eager to learn!! Thnx for all your help. Looks like a cool forum. |

While having the Custom shape tool selected, uncheck the anti-aliasing box in the options. Then you can make those jagged looking shapes.

I cannot find it, I am using photoshop 7. I cannot find no antialiasing checkbox in the options menu....whereabouts is it... (Sorry I am a total noob) |

It sounds like you are using custom tools in "shape layers" mode. You can choose to use the option "fill pixels" in the tool bar instead. At the end of the tool bar you will find the chekbox to get rid of antialias. Unchek BEFORE you draw the shape. Using this mode does not create a layer mask nor a path so you canĀ“t edit the shape :(
