how do you save for web and keep slices as .gif files, whenever i slice my image up and try and save it for web it shows me the optimised image as a jpeg, and i cant see any options to change it like usual :/ someone put me right, want to showcase my new layout later!

off the top of my head, i'm pretty sure you can use the Select Slices tool in the Save for web window and select GIF format for each individual slice.
