Hello, I'm wondering how I can achieve the yellowish transparent looking tube thingies that appear on the left had side of this graphic. The shapes are so spontaneous and the gradients are so smooth. Any ideas...I'll even take a filter, lol. Thanks! http://jag.ignite.nu/images/cubastyle.jpg Adam |

There are few ways you can do this. One easy way is to make your tubeshape, then airbrush in highlights and shadows and such, and changing the blend modes to appear transparent. That way normally works pretty well. You could try lighting effects and then messing with the blending modes, and I think that'll work also. Airbrushing will give you the most desired results. Guassain blur the entire thing after you're done and you should have something similar to that. I can definatly see the airbrushing so I'd go that way.

The tutorial showoed how to do an effect called luminous(sp?) essence... shame i don't remember what website it was from.. |
