scratch disk are full?!

hi i just got photoshop 7 and i was tryin to do this tut. http://www.teamphotoshop.com/photoshop/tutorials/text/chromebase_6/tut_chrome.php and when ever i use the type tool i get this error "cant use this tool scratch disk is full" i dunno what it is talkin about i just got it and thats the first thing i try. if ne1 has ne advice please let me know. thanx

It is telling you that the hard drive that is set to be the "scratch disk" is full. set another hard drive as the scratch or toss some unneeded things to make room on the existing hard drive.
