can you guys help me out on this problem? i want to make the white square around the plane become transparent to the background. this plane with the white background came from another photo. i made a new layer and pasted it there. is attempting this possible? thanks for the time.

do you just want to cut the white out or do you want to save it as a transparent gif?

..oops..too fast to hit ALT+S.. LOL

..then invert the selection, and cut+paste (be in RGB mode)..
Then delete the bg-layer, and save as GIF. :D
