*SIGH* Logo Help

Hi, I've been trying to duplicated the center part of this logo, so that I can re-edit it and add a few things of my own to it. However I can't, I've spent the last few hours trying and all I get are distorted pieces of art. All I want are the lines, I don't need it to be in color or anything. If anyone can do this and it won't take to much of your time please make it and upload it somewhere so I can get a copy of it, I need it in 400 X 400, or just give me soem pointers on making it, I'm really frustrated.

cut out that part you want to use for the logo and enlarge it to 400x400. then just use the pen tool to trace the circle and the rest of the logo.

Tried it to blurry, what I really want is just the blade looking symbol that is made up of three triangles

lol I bet he made 1 triangle, copy.pasted.rotated it 2x afterwords. ^.^; that'd be simple way of doing it for me.

Almost the same, just rotated the path is made with the PEN tool...

WELP, after all those tries I finally got it, and Dakin not as simple as you think it is, I tried the triangle rotation thing to, doesn't work. Anyhoo, How I made it was all in the art of PAINT, believe it or not, I went into paint and did it. Anyhow thanks for all your help, l8t.

Simple is relative. There are quite a lot of us here that could reproduce that, at any size, and any color, in under 30 seconds. And using vectors (whatevere flavor you're comfortable with) is the best way to go.

... in photoshop you could do it with intersecting circles..

yup just tried it.. works pretty good..... i only spent like 5 minuts and got a rough draft of the rings (spikes)

just make three circles in a triangle formation... then select and clear out with the ellipitcal selector and DELETE... i sugest you make them on their own layer b/c moving them around was kinda hard.......


if you do get one looking good let me know.....
