HI Im a newbie :D this is my question: how do I do to make flashing text, or text appearing and disappearing ? thx in advance!! |

trim down your signature! it is way too large! you can do this with image ready aswell. first make the text in photoshop, copy the text layer a couple of times, and lower the opacity of each layer, first lower with 20 %, than lower the other layer with 40 %... etc. than jump to image ready, and make an animated gif. Each layer is a new state, first show the original text layer, and hide all the others, than hide the original text layer and show original text layer 1, go on with this for each state of the animation. that would do the trick... |

Imageready is your answer. Go to the animation tab and have your text in the first frame. Then add another frame and hide the text layer. Loop the animation. If you want fading text, select the second frame in the animation and click tween from the menu that appears when you click on the little arrow in the top right corner of the palatte. Make sure the radio button beside "previous layers" is checked. Then set the number of frames to 3 or something.
