Rust?

I am looking for a tutorial for getting rust (sorry if this should be in the newbie forum)

I know one way how to do it, like on this image: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation.php?id=405185

For that image I used the Noise filter and then i just put a dark brown layer with Color blending + a black and white color gradient.

Do you know any other ways to do it?
