Photoshop Brushes...

My Photoshop has very few brushes, and I would like to download some. Anyone knows where I cud get some?

For one, you can (in the brush pallet) click on the little arrow that is pointing "right" and select "load brushes". That will allow you to add a few brushes to photoshop as ALL of the brushes included with the package ARE NOT available in the default brush set.

Second you can do a search on most ANY search engine for "Photoshop brushes" and come up with hunreds or even thousands of pages in the results.

And lastly, ANYTHING you can get into photoshop CAN be a brush. If you want your mother's face as a brush you can make it one. All you need is a photo of her.

How to:

Open the photo of your Mom, change it over to the Grayscale color model. (>Image >Mode >grayscale) Do this because brushes are grayscale... they hold 255 shades of gray.

Now that you have your Mom's photo open and in grayscale lets make it small enough to be a brush. >Image >Image size

and type in 30 for the pixel width of the image and hit enter.

Now the image will be really small and you wont be able to tell its your mom, but what the hell, right?

Now simply go:
>Edit >define brush

Name it and you have a new brush. ;)
