media kit layouts

Not sure if this is the right place for this or not...but I wasn't sure where to post it...

Anyways...K...Here goes...Most of my experience to date has been publishing on the web and I'd really like to get into doing print work too. The first client is going to be myself to see how effectively I can do it before taking on any paying clients...I'd like to compose a media kit, with a folder, introductory letter, mini portfolio, business card insert and perhaps an interactive cd-rom put together w/ Flash & Director....Something like this...

My question is this...Does anyone know of any templates (or sizes), general advice or anything to accomplish this (mainly for the folder and mini portfolio which will probably end up being a trifold)...I'm sorry if I'm being vague but I really don't know where to begin since I've never done this kind of work...Also any info on keeping print costs as effective as possible...Any advice some of you seasoned print guys could give me would really be appreciated ...
