I need some tips on creating a blueprint effect, as in architectural blue print plans. So far what I've done so far is this: new image->new layer->fill with a light blue->clouds->little gaussian blur->new layer->fill with black->add alot of noise->change layer to color dodge->merge down->more guassian blur which amounts to this: which gives me a good start, but not the full effect I'm going for. I'm missing the random darker blue specks. I'm not a real photoshop pro, just an amateur, so any ideas/help is appreciated. V-eRGe |

Try adjusting the brightness/contrast (Image->Adjsut->Brightness/Contrast) Play around with the sliders, make it darker and darker until you get the effect you want. If you want to add blue, you can use the Color Balance (Ctrl+B) and change around the colors there.
