1px marque/fill

Hi
When i try to do a usual selection using the selection tool and then modify->border 1px and fills the selected area it fills the area plus 1px extra at each side,

anyone know how to fix this so that i get rid of that extra gray..?

why dont you just use Modify -> Expand 1px

you might try setting the stroke to "inside" or "center"....
