hi again. can anybody point me towards a good tutorial that shows you how to make things overlap? like make wires twist around eachother or something? thanks alot for any help :D |

You can either draw those wires manually to make them appear that they are twisted. Or you can make individual segments that will look like portions of the wire when it's twisted and then copy and layer them on top of each other until they form the length of wire you want. But as far as just taking two wires and processing the images with effects and filters to create a twisted wire effect, I don't know of anything that does that. Twisted wires sound like something that you would have to draw manually or layer as described above. I guess you could do it easier in a 3D program like 3ds or maybe even Illustrator (not sure), but in Photoshop, I think it would have to be done more manually. Dave Fore |
