pixelated drawings & Illustrator

I was wondering how people draw those "pixel" drawings?


Also, I have Adobe illustrator, and I dont really know how to use it. Anybody know any good sites with tutorials? I've seen some amazing drawings done in illustrator, and I want to learn.

Pixel by pixel using the pencil tool using Photoshop, not sure about Illustrator though.

i don't think you can get pixels in illustrator. i never used it before but isn't illus. vector based?

The kind of pixel things I want to draw look like your sig, moochan. Those are the kind of drawings i'm wondering how to draw. What did you use to draw your sig?

You draw them pixel by pixel with the one pixel Pencil tool. It takes tons of time. Here is a thread I posted with some links though...

Photoshop using the pencil tool. And some references, such as my tower to the right of me.
