Need some help

I have a picture of a car and need to make like a template of it...It's hard to explain...but I need to remove the paint so the car is just white but it still has to have all the detail. I hope that makes some sense.

Any help would be great.

er...what color is it now?
White is kinda hard to get, you could de-saturate it, and level it up..doubt that would look good.

And if you´re saying you want to color it after that in variouse colors, then don´t color it on the gray, use the original color, and make a hue-layer on that...
