I saw in the ps 7 review on this site that you can do it easily but it doesn't tell how and the tutorial is for a different version. I followed the tutorial hoping it would work the same but it didn't so how do I do it? |

In PS7, go to File > Save for Web...Then the save for web box comes up. Select the Eyedrop tool, pick one color from your image, THEN click on the "Maps Selected Colors to Transparent" icon (it doesn't actually say it but if you hold the mouse over it , it will display alt text to show you the text "Maps Selected Colors to Transparent") .. (It's at the bottom of the color table and shaped like a square and looks like the transparent background [the one with the checkerboard pattern]) You can click on an infinite amount of colors and then click on the Map Selected Colors to Transparent icon to reveal a transparent background... Hope this helps! (I'm just now getting into PS7 and hope someone else that has used PS 7 a lot can explain it in more detail if need be...) |

you're welcome, glad it works... :D now if it would only not take away some foreground colors (sometimes I select a color in the background and the color also matches a color of what someone is wearing and it takes that away, too..) |
