hm, does anyone know how to create a good eroded ink effect like the one used on www.violet-ray.net because i don't feel that the ink spatter filter works correctly if you use that from normal paint lines, anyone give me a hand?

Try this... Use a normal rond brush... then use the smudge tool (located in the too plaette with the blurr and shper tool)... Put these on thire own layer if you dont want to ruin you background)... also paly a bit with bleending mode... I have use this effect for a blood spaltter and it looked pretty real... |
