Okeydokey, to start when I have something selected and i press Shift Control I, sometimes it inverts the selection and sometimes it doesn't... What's this!? And... When I try to save transparent gifs it can't save the gradient, is it something I'm doing wrong?

The problem with shift+ctrl+i is something I experienced too. In my case I found that when running Trillian (chat client) and Photoshop at the same time, Trillian would steal the shift+ctrl+i shortcut. To remove this annoying feature from Trillian, Open Trillian. Right click the Trillian System tray icon, select Options>Preferences. Then select General>Events>Advanced. Find the Shift+ctrl+i Hotkey in the list. Select it and choose Remove. Then Apply and OK. As for the gradient... Are you saving your Gif files in 256 color mode? If you save in 16 color mode or something like that, there wont be colours enough to display your gradient and they will appear as blocks of colours Take care. |

i always convert it to RGB color first if I'm editing GIF files, then after I'm done, I just resave it again as a GIF. That way, if I need to add gradients etc. it doesn't mess up.
