I don't know of any tutorials but you might try looking on Adobe Xchange for an action that produces that effect. There are quite a few photo actions available there for free. Maybe one will work for you. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Dave Fore |

Ummm... a place where noobies like myself go for effects that we haven't yet learned how to do on our own? Actually there's some decent effects there free for the download. I'm sure most of you pros already know how to do a lot of those effects but for someone just learning Photoshop, those effects are quick and easy. Plus there's stuff like brushes, shapes and styles for free. For Illustrator too! Adobe Xchange Dave Fore |

Simple: make the new document.... create a new channel (alpha 1) make your paper shape (lasso, rectangle, whatever) and fill with white.... deselect Now go filter>pixelate>crystallize (play with this a little till you like the edge... (3 or 4 looks pretty cool) add a touch of guassian blur if the edges look too harsh. NOW.. create a new layer and go: select>load selection select alpha 1 fill that selection with white (or your off-white paper color) give that layer an "inner shadow" of a dark brown color....and maybe a tiny drop shadow. Now apply a paper type texture and you are in business... |
