miss something, chill down... these guys really posted valuable information to help you. It could be that the guy/girl from that site created the effect with his/her camera, with a very slow shutter speed. Or, they did it with effects in photoshop... I think it is a combination of both, slow shutter speed and effects added in photoshop. Painted random blobs of color with the paintbrush and then blur the heck out of those blobs... But really, watch the attitude... Nobody will help you like that. |

Miss Eva, Zazi is probably RIGHT ON THE MONEY, regardless of whether he's a Photoshop expert or not. That background is a textbook example of what occurs when you leave a camera's shutter open for a *very* long time. And if you look at the person, it's evident that she is superimposed over the top of that background. Two separate pics layered with some opacity. Could this effect be done in Photoshop? Probably so. But I'd bet it would take you 10 times the effort and time to do it compared to grabbing the camera and taking a couple of hours to go and shoot this on the street with the proper gear. And I'd bet the Photoshop version wouldn't look nearly as authentic. For this particular shot, my money's on still photography effects, not Photoshop effects. But I could be wrong. And Miss Eva, lighten up. You'll get all kinds of responses here on this forum I have found. Mostly because people are trying to be helpful. You have to pick and choose what you like and what works for you. Otherwise, that attitude will end up getting you *no* responses to your questions when *you* need some help. Think about it...
