Black outter glow..

Whenever I try and put a black (or any other dark color) outter glow effect on anything, it does NOT show up in the work space in photoshop.
It's as if it never added an outter glow.

Even if I save it and view it somewhere else... the black outter glow cannot be seen.

have u tried moving ur layers around?
maybe u have it under like sumthign that will block that glow

You probably have the blending mode set to "multiply" which I believe is the default. switch it to normal.

it´s probably on "screen", if it was on multiply, then the dark colors would show, not the bright ones... *is being picky*

In the effect panel...

Just left to the color picker you will see the blending mode menu (drop down) as in the layer panel...

The otion selected by default should be Screen... Just change it to Multyply or normal (Nroaml will work bette if you color is not so dark).

You can also have this otion in moset layer effect, just play around with bleding mode ans you can have really cool effect...

Yeah, change it to Multiply.

You could also consider adding a drop shadow style with the distance set to zero.
