Baseball Field Dirt

I'm trying to creat this baseball field dirt/sand in my work Aerial photography image (that also have baseball feild, but, the sand area look more like a mud because of low res.)

I'm wondering if anyone know how to creat sand look texture in photoshop?? and maybe the grass too..?

start with an image larger than you want your final to be. fill the entire thing with a light brown (#9C7041). Add noise. 11%, uniform, monochromatic. Then blur more once or twice. Then reduce the size of your image and it should look like dirt.

try things like making the dirt darker and adjusting the noise levels.

then change the lighting and levels to suit ur needs
