Printing on T-Shirt

Does anyone have anyu tips on how to get good results when printing an images on a T-shirt...or any similir surface (like mouse pas)
Is there any concern I should have before sending my images to be printed?

I think u have to get in touch with a shop that does it and find out their spec's. I have been told around 35-45 linescreen (dont quote me) for your average t shirt depending on what you are printing on (white t, or a colored t), etc. But I was told to contact the print house.
