reading fonts problems |

does anybody heard abot the problem that photoshop get slow with a lot of fonts inside the fonts folder of win 2000. i have about 600 fonts and photoshop can´t load them. thanks folks:confused: |

That happens period. The more fonts, the more time it takes and the more cpu usage the computer has to use in order to read the information for all the fonts it's trying to load. If your computer can't handle it, I suggest only putting fonts in that folder that you use on a regular basis, and invest in some kind of font manager or something. |

thank you for your informations, but my private computer have no problems wich is just the same cofiguration. at work we killed all and install now all new not just photoshop. now i have still the problems with just the basic fonts. and i can´t belive that. i think i have to take some beers ; ) greetings marci |
