This has probably been asked to death, but can I upgrade an educational version of Photoshop 6 with a retail version of the 7 upgrade?

One would think you could. Afterall, the programs aren't different, just the licenses.

It's just that most academic versions are not upgradable, given the drastic difference in price from the retail versions, and I was wonder if anyone had any experience with trying to do this type of upgrade.
