Okay this is a dumb newbie topic but, i want to learn how to work with photoshop 7. I made images with letters with colours in it. And a background with colours overflowing eachother. And some image manipulation. But that's about it. I saw a lot of cool wallpapers and i want to make one too. Is it really hard and where do i exactly start? Thanks in advantage. |

Wow, that´s a hard one...lol.. Well, you could do worse than just checking out tutorials, reading about techniques, and most importantly, EXPERIMENT on your own. Try everything! There are billions of tuts out there, but since :cough: I happen to have a site with some very beginner-friendly tutorials for PS (6-7..same same..), you could check them out. Here. TeamPS has them..Damn, just check on google with "photoshop tutorials"..Should be a "bunch"..hehe.. Well, good luck to ´ya. |

Paavo, you really must stop pimping your own site... lol... when mine is online, we shall have a battle for the TPS forums... hehe... Anyhow m8. Go to www.carbonfour.com and check out the tutorials there, and visit the links. Nearly all the links have tutorials in some way, shape, or form. I found them useful back in the day. There's more sites out there... uhm... if you're into making textures, www.planetquake.com/hfx is kinda cool for making base metal textures. There were a few more that I can't think of right now... I'll remember them later. |
