Just draw them. I´m planning on making a tut for stuff like that on my site, but haven´t found the time.... But a quick-quick suggestion; Make a selection in the shape of a spike with the LassoTool/PenTool. Then fill the selection with a color of choise. Then use the Dodge/Burn -tool to make the top/middle part lighter and the bottom/outer parts darker. That´s the very basics of making a 3-D feel to it. Then just keep going, "drawing" everyOne of them. Avoid copying the same spikes for as long as you can (..till you drop..lol..) ...Experiment. :D |

you can draw it just use a couple layers and make part of each layer a little darker then merge them and blur then change the lighting if you want you can add a little noise than do a motion blur in the direction of your thingies yeah that should work or I'm just typing for the hell of it |
